Fair play
A plain-language draft that needs legal review before launch.
One person, one account
Each person may have one account. Sharing or running several accounts to cover different scorelines on the same matches is not allowed.
How we look for problems
We look for several accounts made together from one network and for accounts that cover different scorelines on the same matches. We do this with salted hashes of the network and browser, not with stored addresses.
A flagged account goes into shadow mode while we review it: you can keep playing, but your picks are left out of public leaderboards and the crowd split until we decide.
What can happen
A flag can be cleared, and the account returns to normal. If we find a breach, the account is banned and its badges and titles are revoked. We are quick to clear honest mistakes, such as friends or family on the same Wi-Fi.
To be featured, win a title or take part in any recognition, an account must be at least 21 days old, have no open flag, and have picked at least 60% of the week's slate. 4463 staff accounts are left out of rankings and recognition.
Appeals
If you think a decision is wrong, write to appeals@4463.in with your handle and we will look again.
